History

Little is known about the history of strappy dresses, they seem to have been around forever.  Ever since people started wearing animal skins they have needed something to keep them on the body, so strips of leather were probably the first straps.

These have evolved with the use of fabrics for clothing, and there is now a very wide range of straps available to suit all types and styles of dresses.
